Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees. 3/12/09 Lobo came to the Humane Society only a couple weeks ago because the owner said he was too big. He is an active dog and will require a lot of attention. He is very lovable and would be perfect for the high energy owner. He is very good around other dogs and would possibly need a friend to run off some of his energy with. He is approximately 11 months old and has been tested for heartworm disease and is up to date on vaccines.
