Lloyd

Lloyd 2yr old Lab/Giant mix Lloyd is a 2-year-old male pup who just transitioned from life outdoors up North, to house life in London! He is giant sized, and a probable livestock guardian/Northern mix. Lloyd lives with a female dog and 9 and 1-year-old children. Despite his massive size, he moves with intention and is quite gentle. Lloyd is remarkably intelligent - he was instantly housebroken and learned the 'sit' command in a day. He becomes quickly loyal to his people and likes to stay close. He is very protective and alert to any unexpected noises, but always inspects cautiously. He is not interested thus far in toys or playing with the resident dog, but delighted in all of the sniffs on his first walk! This will all come as he starts to feel safe. Lloyd has not been destructive but does cry whenever someone leaves the home. He will require a strong and committed adopter to continue training and managing his large size on walks. He has not been cat tested, but they are not recommended given his size & outdoor life. He has been vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, neutered, and treated with Simperica Trio.
