Meet Livvy! Livvy is a 2 year old pit bull mix. When she came to Saving Hope last summer, she was pregnant with ten healthy puppies. After they went off to their own happy endings, Livvy was ready for hers. Unfortunately, she was attacked by other dogs in her first foster home. That hasn’t stopped Livvy from becoming fast friends with her current foster sister, and she can usually be found snuggled up with her in their bed or crate. However, she still experiences anxiety when meeting new dogs. Livvy is the sweetest girl. She has a beautiful heart and personality, and she just wants to please her person or people. Livvy is a high-energy dog, and her forever home should be an active one with a strong leader. Exercise is key and she has excelled at the basic agility she’s done with her foster. Livvy is house and crate trained, and is good on a leash but getting better and better every day. She is also fine when left out of the crate for extended periods of time (4-5 hours). Her foster mom has never heard her bark, even when her sister loses it. Livvy is a beautiful, sweet and extremely intelligent girl. She deserves a human who will appreciate and nurture those qualities. Thank you for choosing to rescue! ----------------------PLEASE READ------------------------------- Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in Colorado with pick up in Ft. Lupton CO. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs. As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
