Little Sophie

Little Sophie is an 8 year old Red Tri, toy/mini Aussie. She lives to play ball so an active home with someone willing to spend a lot of time outside is preferred. She will even play ball in the house, rain or shine she’s ready. She is house and crate trained but prefers to be loose in the house. Sophie can be in a home with other dogs and can run and play ball with other dogs. She does like to claim her person and she can be quite vocal if she wants another dog to get out of her way or away from her person. As long as the other dog respects boundaries things are well. Her foster mom has worked with her on moving her away or redirecting her but it’s a habit she came with and has been hard to completely stop. For this reason, she will not be placed in a home with young children or grandchildren. She will need a fenced in yard so she can run and explore. Sophie could do well as an only dog as long as she’s getting her ball time in. No apartments as she can be yappy at times when she wants something. Sophie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
