Hi there! My name is Little Debby or as my foster mom calls me; Deb, Debbers or Crazy Legs McGee! I don’t look like your typical beagle (I’m chocolate brown and tan with a tiny bit of white on my chest), but I have soft beagle ears and a nose that can sniff out anything! I have long legs that sometimes get tangled up when I’m running fast! Hence the Crazy Legs McGee nick name! I have adapted very well to my new foster home. I have a foster brother that I love playing with. There is a whole basket of toys that I’m allowed to play with so I don’t chew on anything that I’m not supposed to! There are also two kitties here. One of them doesn’t like me at all, but the other one lets me play with her. Foster mom says that’s okay as long as I’m gentle! I’m a typical puppy….I love to play and then I love to sleep! I am a great snuggler. I am good with my crate. I may bark a little bit at first but then I settle right down. Potty training is going well. Sometimes I’m in such a hurry to get back inside and play that I don’t finish pooping all of the way. We’re working on that!! I get along very well with children. I do tend to jump when I’m excited so my foster mom introduces me to new people slowly. If you are looking for a medium energy, beautiful, sweet girl who loves giving kisses then I’m for you! I would love to have a dog friend to play with, but as long as I have toys, I’m great on my own! Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog who will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
