ADOPTED 6-9-10, thank you Beuch's family of CdA, ID!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~****In 5-15-10, owner surrender, "foreclosure forcing rehoming of dogs" This is what they have to say about Lily, whom they've owner her whole life: Hi, my name is Lily. I am a beautiful red bloodhound. I love pizza, steak, car rides, wandering walks, my ears rubbed, and picking my own apples. Furniture, including beds are truly my best friends. In my 7 years of life, I have gained extensive knowledge and training with various kinds of creatures. I have personally observed, tracked, played, and slept with many of these creatures, goats, beagles, German shorthair, golden retriever, bloodhound, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, parrots, koi ponds, turkey, deer, an occasional moose, and humans. I have never been caged, chained, or shock collared. I do not respond well to physical punishment. A stern verbal reprimand usually does the trick. If I am in trouble, I have developed a limp that has successfully gotten me out of trouble on many occasions including the time I helped myself to the family steak. I am quite cooperative, preferring to live indoors and outdoors; sleeping with people and animals, but spending lots of time outside. I need a big fenced yard. I am quite healthy and weigh in at about 115 pounds. My current parents are watching my weight.
Some stairs, blow-dryers, and vacuums unsettle me. I will not drink from the porcelain bowl. I am extremely mellow but if an occasion arises, I can be quite animated for you. I enjoy singing when you come up the driveway or when everyone around me is excited. My parents have always encouraged my musical voice…. I can sound quite beautiful on a summer’s evening.
