Lily

Hi there, I'm Lily, an 8-year-old Coonhound weighing 75 pounds. Lily’s height is 27inches at her shoulders. I've been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and have excellent house manners! I’m good with kids, I sleep in my kennel at night and I do very well at the groomers. I’m very respectful of my foster’s home. My absolute favourite pastime is sniffing around; it's in my nature as a hound to follow my nose wherever it leads. I thrive on being around people and nothing makes me happier than snuggling up with my human friends. My previous owners say if I’m left alone for a lengthy period outside, I might try to indulge in a bit of digging, but my fosters haven’t experienced this because they don’t leave me outside alone for very long. On walks, I can get excited about sniffing the ground and pull a bit because I'm so eager to explore and sniff everything in sight. But don't worry—I respond well to a gentle leader (head lead), which helps me stay focused and enjoy our walks together without pulling. I'm respectful and eager to please and prefer boundaries and routine. Despite my quirks, I'm an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who craves love and attention. Although I’m a coonhound, I’m surprisingly quiet. I look out the window silently and very rarely bark. I don’t even bark when people come over. I like other dogs and I like to make friends. Once l've found a loving home, I'll be your most loyal companion, always ready to cuddle and be by your side. Someone will be very lucky to have me. * My previous owners say I don’t like cats. Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines.
