Lilo

*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Lilo! 10-year-old Lab mix Lilo needs a loving new home for his golden years. His mom explains: "We moved to a new home with a significantly smaller yard. Along with new work schedules (less time to spend with them), our dogs are outdoors because our young kids are allergic. It has just become apparent that they would have a better life in another home with more space. Lilo and Stitch (also available for adoption) are lovely dogs and have been amazing pets. I hope to find them a loving home to live out the next few years. We are sad to part from them but know they need a better home at this time. Lilo and Stitch respond well to other dogs if they are introduced gradually to them. We have friends with other dogs, and they have brought them over. They all do well together including with small breeds. They do not like cats, however. We have 4-year-old and 1-year-old children. Both dogs do well around them. Lilo likes to interact more with the kids and is very gentle and patient. Stitch prefers to be left alone but will also be gentle if approached by the kids. We have never had any concerns of them with the kids. Lilo and Stitch are well-behaved, enjoy walks around the neighborhood, and sleep most of the day. They do not seem to mind if a person or dog takes their food or toy. Lilo will bark at Stitch if he is near his food bowl, but that is the extent of it."
