Name: Lilly Gender: Female Age: 1 year old Current Weight: 30 lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium Breed: Pit/Terrier Mix Energy Level: Medium to medium low Dog Friendly: Lilly is dog selective and would prefer to be an only dog. Cat Friendly: Unsure, but Lilly was very interested in the cat at a foster home, so we think she would be best without cats in the home. Kid Friendly: Yes. Lilly loves kids! She has been in homes with kids ages 4-11 and has done very well with them. She really enjoys snuggling with kiddos. Apartment Friendly: No Physical Fence Requirement: Lilly does not require a fence. If you have a fence, she can squeeze through fences that have wide enough slats. Crate Trained: Yes, Lilly does fine in a crate. She may whine for a few minutes, but then settles. Potty Trained: Lilly is not currently potty trained, but it's a work in progress. Ideal Home/Adopter: Lilly would love a family that will keep her as an active participant in the household. She loves being around people and is happy to snuggle up with you or nearby you. Lilly loves to cuddle! She enjoys being outside, where she can sniff around, lay in the sun or play with a ball/toy for a while. Likes: Lilly really loves spending quality time with her people. She is very affectionate and thrives receiving affection in return. She likes playing with toys or chewing on bones and likes being outside. Lilly is an A+ cuddler! Dislikes: Lilly doesn't like to be secluded from the rest of the household. Additional Considerations: Lilly was attacked by another dog a couple months ago. We're unsure if she is dog selective as a result of this incident, or if she was dog selective before. She has done well with a couple of older, laid back dogs, but she initially feels threatened and barks at the other dog. What makes this dog special: Lilly is incredibly sweet! She loves to give kisses, snuggle and be close to you. She gives the cutest little smile when she is happy! Lilly's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
