Please let us introduce Lilly! This blue-eyed beauty has been bounced around during her short life and is hoping for a forever family that understands her breed. She is currently receiving lots of TLC in foster care while waiting for a place to hang her leash forever. Lilly is 1 year old and weighs in at about 40 pounds. She is house trained, crate trained and walks very well on a leash. Typical of her breed, she is very smart and energetic. Also typical is the desire to be with her people at all times, and the possibility of becoming an escape artist when bored. Her best home will be one with husky experience where her human is around during the day to take her on fun walks, hikes and adventures. A fenced yard would be nice, but if left alone for long periods, huskies are not above jumping a fence or trying to dig under it. Lilly gets along very well with other dogs and doesn’t bother cats. She’d love the companionship of another dog. There is a 7 year old boy in her foster home and she’s good with him. We think children in her home should be 7 years, or older, as she’s young yet with plenty of puppy energy and will jump up for attention. This girl a diamond in the rough who will make a great addition to a husky-loving family. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations.
