Meet Lila! This 5 year old gorgeous girl came to us from a high kill shelter. We’re not sure how she ended up there as it’s clear she was in a home previously. She is very gentle and mellow and loves kids! She would thrive as the only pet in the home. Lila is a typical pyrenees and we would love for her to go home to a family with large breed experience.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
