Lila

Age: approx 3-4 years Weight: 76 lbs (ideal weight 85-90 lbs) Lila was found stray and ended up at a very crowded city shelter. Her owners didn't come for her but her new foster mom did! She's now living the good life in a home until she finds her forever family. She arrived to the shelter with scabs on her nose and they are healing. At the shelter, Lila was described as dainty and gentle and social with other dogs. Her foster mom says she's great on a leash and rides well in the car, and she actively seeks pets and attention. This happy girl has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworms and has been treated. We're certain she'll be adopted by the time she needs to be retested for heartworms in January, but we'll cover the cost of the test and any further treatment that may be required (likely none). We haven't seen her around cats and imagine she will be just fine in a family with children. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
