My Story

ADOPTED!
Lil Bit LOOKS like a big dog in these pictures, but he actually only weighs 18 lbs! He is five years old and is great with other dogs. He's very social around people, and he's extremely intelligent, fun-loving, and sensitive. He's also a good leash walker and he would love to go for walks with you. Lil Bit would enjoy having a doggie playmate and a fenced yard (no invisible fencing, please). Because of his size, we prefer that he not be adopted by a family with small children, as we would worry that he might be inadvertently injured. Lil Bit doesn't want to be a latchkey dog because he loves being with his people, so an owner who works out of the home, is retired, or works part time would be his heart's desire. Lil Bit would love to be in a home of his own for the new year. Do you have room in your heart for this handsome fellow? If you would like us to e-mail you an adoption application, please write us at: [email protected] and first tell us a little about yourself so that we can determine if Lil Bit would be a good fit for you--and you, for him.
Please click on "One Starfish Rehoming Connections" under the photo to read more about our rescue's adoption policies and fees. We do not operate a humane society or shelter, so we do not have a facility that is open to the public. Our dogs are fostered by volunteers in private homes, and are not available for viewing until an adoption application is filled out and references are checked. Please read the information on our home page (by clicking on our rescue name below this dog's photo) before contacting us.
