Lightning Bug

Lightning Bug is a very independent dog but does get along with other dogs given a bit of time to warm up to his furry friends! He is a smart and curious pup who spends his days running in our play yards. He can be a bit shy at first, but he is very loyal and will warm up to you. He would do best in a home in which he has a job since he has so much energy and wants to keep busy without being destructive. He could be very successful as a guardian to a herd of farm animals and can go to an outdoor home with acreage as long as he has a shelter in place. He cannot go to a home with children and cannot live at a home that will keep him outside on a chain permanently. The adoption fee includes the animal's surgery*, vaccinations, flea preventative, deworming medication, sample bag of food/treat samples and a free first exam with participating veterinarians. Our shelter is open to the public on Monday- Saturday from 9:00 am -5:00 pm EST.
