Lightning is a 5-year-old, tri-colored male. He was rescued by a family when their friends lost their home. Lightning is a terrific dog. He is very shy at first. But he definitely opens up to you. Once he is comfortable, he becomes the most loyal dog. In fact, you’ll find he loves to give/get hugs (he’ll lean hard against you and you’ll just have to put your loving arms around him.) Lightning loves to play with dogs smaller than him and gets along w/ other dogs his size. He doesn’t care for larger dogs. He has not been cat tested and is not good with small children. He is housetrained and knows how to use a dog door. Give him a little time and he will turn out to be a terrific pet for you.
