LICORICE

Licorice is 33 lbs, 3 years old and is playful, affectionate, obedient, and a quick learner. She was in foster, was returned due to their child's allergies, but here is what her foster told us - "Licorice is loving and enjoys rolling around on her back and dashing around the yard chasing birds. She loves her treats and will come to you joyfully when called. She sleeps in her own bed, and willingly goes in her crate to nap or to stay in when alone at home. She is house trained and goes to the door and waits or whines a bit to show when she needs a bio-break. Licorice can be anxious around other dogs while on leash, likely due to traumatic events in her past, but once she is friends with a pup and is off leash she loves to play and romp." Licorice would make a wonderful family addition for a dog savvy family who understands rescued dogs and can work through situations that cause her to become anxious.
