Thank you for visiting Liberty! By choosing to adopt a dog through C.A.R.E.S., you are not only giving a wonderful dog a forever home, but you are allowing us to rescue another dog on death row. You are also choosing to support a true no-kill rescue organization. Thank you!.
Such a nice girl! Liberty was a stray and was rescued from Animal Control when her time was up. We believe that she is a purebred Labrador Retriever based upon her looks. She is a real sweetheart. We guess her age to be about 5 years old. How sad—a dog of her age being lost from her family. Liberty was heartworm positive and shehas been treated, so she is good to go.
Liberty is a typical lab—happy, energetic, intelligent, and eager to please. Her favorite thing on earth is to play fetch, as her picture shows.
She appears to be housetrained and we don’t know if she is crate trained. When she was picked up, she rode in the front seat, nudging my hand to be pet the whole way. She is a dear girl.
Please come meet Liberty, she’ll win your heart. She deserves a family that matches her loyalty.
This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, dental cleaning, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested, treated because she was positive, and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. Thank you!
