Lexie was rescued from a Shelter in Greenville , SC> She is 4 years old, a little timid. She was very scared at the Shelter...she was used to being with her family but the landlord said the big dog had to go.....so Lexie went tot he Shelter. Lexie is lucky she was not put to sleep immediately.....Lexie had several things against her..., she is big, she is black and she was an owner turn in...Most people do not realize that "owner" turn ins that come in to the Shelter are more apt to be put to sleep way before strays....sometimes before their previous family is out of the parking ...also big dogs and almost all black dogs are put down...strange but true.....but Lexie caught the attention of her rescuer and is now safe. Lexie is current on all of her vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped. She rides very well in the car, is good on a leash, very well mannered, not food or dog aggressive. Lexie will make a wonderful new family member.
