Lexie is a 2 1/2 year old, spayed, black Labrador.

Almost two years ago Easter the wind blew the back gate open and Lexie left her yard. Her family searched everwhere and did everything possible to find her, but no luck. Then just a few weeks ago the Humane Society called to let her family know they had her.

Her family is thrilled to have her back but in the time she was gone adopted another dog and had a baby. With Lexie home they now have 3 dogs and a young child and feel it is not the ideal situation for Lexie.

She is very sweet natured and gentle, excitable and lively but relatively calm for a young Labrador. She is excellent with children, house broken,crate trained, knows sit, stay, lay down, come, and will not get on funiture unless invited up.

She loves snuggles and kisses, and to play ball. She is a quiet dog and barks only while playing outside, or at knocks at the door.
