Lewey

Lewey wins Mr. Personality -- paws down! A friendly and affectionate fellow, he loves life and wants to share it with a new family! Lewey is always ready to play: with dogs, with you (zooming after a ball is a favorite), and by himself (watch him joyfully tossing around squeaky toys!). He particularly enjoys hanging out in his cozy crate, napping, and going for car rides. While Lewey gets along well with other dogs, he can be intimidated when approached by several dogs at once. Because of this, he's not a fan of dog parks. He is a fan of cats, however, and lived with one in his prior home. Lewey is eager to please, although not food motivated. He is crate-trained and house-trained, is quickly learning basic commands, and is looking forward to mastering some new tricks. HISTORY Lewey was taken in by a Good Samaritan after his owner passed away. HEALTH Lewey is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative. He will get a microchip and dental cleaning before going to his forever home. PHYSICAL Lewey sports an always stylish black coat with a thin white stripe on his chest and the slightest hint of gray around his muzzle. Quite a distinguished look!
