Meet Leslie! This fun beauty is approximately 60lbs and 4 yeas old. She was originally adopted from Contra Costa County on 7/19/23 and the owner is disabled and realized that she is unable to handle her.
Leslie is a very sweet, friendly, and playful dog. She loves her toys, loves to play fetch, run, go on walks and would be a great jogging partner. Leslie loves car rides and does very well in the car. She is motivated by treats and is very gentle when taking treats from you.
Leslie does tend to get a little excited and jumpy but with some extra training and guidance, this behavior can be corrected. She can be in a home with cats with slow careful introductions. Homes with older children are okay and not recommended with small children. Leslie can be dog selective so slow introeuctions with other dogs would insure her successful interactions.
