My Story

Hi I am Leonardo- a Great Pyrenees born around August 2020. I'm good with all sizes of dogs and love my furry foster siblings (a Chihuahua, Rat Terrier and Great Pyrenees). I can be a bit selective when it comes to other male dogs so best to take introductions slowly. I even like the cat!. I prefer to sleep on the doggie bed and sometimes get into trouble for counter surfing but we are working on that! I’m doing pretty well learning my commands and have mastered stay, sugars (kisses) and come. I’m working on “sit” but haven’t been convinced to do that one yet. I love my foster family and do great with the kids. When it comes to meeting strangers, I may be a bit hesitant at first but once I have a chance to do a bit of sniffing, I am fine. I am not a fan of playing in water, but I do love to drink it! I’m a big gentle giant that just wants to be loved and love back and can be a bit of a leaner when I’m getting pets.
