$100.00 Adoption Fee includes Distemper vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchip and ID tag. Dogs and puppies (if old enough) will also receive Rabies vaccination and be blood tested for Heartworm/Lymes/Anaplasmosis/Erlichiosis. If we have been able to spay/neuter the pet, it is also included in the adoption fee. If not done, the adoptive person is responsible for the cost of spaying/neutering by the date designated in our contract. You can apply for me online!

My Story: Hello! My name is Leona. I am a spayed female Beagle/Pug mix. I guess that's supposed to be a Puggle, but I do look more like the Beagle side of things. I'm about 7 months old (estimated DOB 12/3/09). I'm a rather small girl, as I only weigh 13.8# right now. I came to the Shelter when my previous owner decided I needed to find a new home as she couldn't keep me any more.

I have a short-haired coat that's a mixture of black, tan and white. I'm a very pretty girl, and my big eyes make my look rather unique! I was a bit shy when I first came to the Shelter, but I've quickly figured out that this a really good place to be. There are so many nice people here, and we get lots of really nice visitors too! Now I love to get attention and spend time with people. I get along well with other dogs, too. In fact, I came to the Shelter with my good friend Elita. They say we don't have to be adopted together, but we wouldn't mind it a bit if we got to stay together. :o)

CCHS is a wonderful No-Kill animal shelter. We rely on donations and volunteers to keep running.
