LEON - So Mellow!

ADOPTED! - Did you know that black dogs are the last ones to be adopted? Many people aren't even aware of the fact that they tend to "skip over" the black dogs on Petfinder. If Leon were buff or parti-colored instead of black, he would have been snapped up by an adopter in an instant! He is a very sweet, laid back, well behaved dog. He likes other dogs and cats, but his favorite thing to do is cuddle with his human family members and go for nice, long walks. Leon is a young adult (approximately 2 or 3 years old) and he weighs about 25 lbs. Leon doesn't want to be a latchkey dog, so an adopter who works part time, is retired, or works out of his/her home would be perfect for him. Leon came to us having tested positive for heartworms, but he has now been successfully treated and is "good to go". He is neutered, up to date on immunizations, wormed, and microchipped.
