Leo

Leo is a gentle giant born 1/2001. As a senior pup he's gone through his high energy, chewing phase and has grown into a well behaved family companion. At 124# Leo is a big boy, but he has learned to be cautious with his size around youngins and the only time he "throws his weight around" is when he leans against you for affection.

Leo enjoys frequent, casual strolls to check out the neighborhood. He is currently in a senior dog group and doing well strolling the yard with his pals. He completely ignores the felines at the shelter and even accepts the needy ones that try to sleep on him. Leo is house trained and wonderful off leash. Because of his age, Leo is on arthritis medication that his new owner will need to maintain. Leo cannot go to a home with stairs that he'd need to climb.

Adoption Information:

Adoption clinics are held every Saturday from 10am – 2pm at PetSmart, 2216 E. Springs Drive. Most of our available dogs can be visited at that time. If you have an approved application, an appointment may be made to meet a dog at a different time. Our dogs have all been spay/neuter, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. We take care of any veterinary care prior to adoption. We offer a $50 rebate to adopters who complete a training class and send in proof of completion within 4 months of adoption.

Adult Dogs (over 1 year of age) - $238
Puppies (under 1 year of age) - $317
