So what do you think of the following quote, “There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be”? It is a quote by John Lennon and yes, I am just as famous as he is, well in my mind and the mind of my foster mom. Hello, my name is Lennon and I, along with my two sisters and brother, were rescued by Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue (WEGDR). Not much is known about my previous life before WEGDR but my life since has been amazing; however, before I tell you about it let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a young, little over a year, Blue Fawn with gorgeous eyes. The Ophthalmologist said I am a slightly vision impaired but that doesn’t stop me. I can climb stairs, slow pace until I get my footing, do zoomies in the backyard, find the water and food bowls, jump into a car (I LOVE car rides), pretty much whatever other dogs can do but just at a slower pace. I love stuffies BUT I cannot have them because just like any toddler I like to put them in my mouth and they seem to just disappear. So please no stuffies just antlers, or hard bones, etc. I love couches and dog beds. My favorite spot is to be right next to my foster mom when she is working. She has a special bed just for me. I told you, I am famous! I love giving kisses too, but I am not a sloppy kisser like my foster brother. When I first arrived, I was a little shut down which is expected but over time my foster mom and my foster brothers and sisters have shown me that the outside world isn’t so scary. My favorite thing to do is zoomies. One of my foster sisters, MacKenzie, and one of my foster brothers, Rippelee, are the king and queen of zoomies and they have officially let me be a part of their royal court. Because of WEGDR I have a rags to riches story. I get along with dogs, but cats should be slowly introduced to me. I am a big boy and can be a little intimidating.
