Leiah

Update July 3 Sweet Leiah had an awesome day out during the Paws Around the Pee Dee event. Her volunteer handlers described her as "chill, sweet, is a foodie and very photogenic." She did great riding in the car, loved sniffing on her walks, has excellent leash skills, was calm and laid back and would make a great couch potato. Leiah was happy hanging out with her new friends and calmly greeted other dogs, and didn't care about cats being around while at Purrs McBarkin'. Leiah, 1-2 year old terrier mix, heart worm negative and spayed, arrived very thin at 26 lbs in late January. Found by a Good Samaritan, she was picked up from the Family Dollar in Lydia. She was taken to the vet in Bishopville and scanned for a chip. The chip came back registered but after multiple attempts to contact the owner, no success. She's a very sweet girl. Leiah arrived painfully thin, she was on her own for awhile. She is now at a healthy weight and she is beautiful. It's sad that some one cared enough to chip her but attempts at reuniting her with the owner failed. Leiah tested well with both male and female dogs during play groups.
