Leela

Leela is intelligent, happy and loyal. She is an energetic and very gentle dog. Our best guess on age is 6 years and best guess on breed is german shepherd mix. She appears to get on well with cats. She loves to play with other dogs. She's a good 'helper' - she will follows you around as you do your chores in the yard. She is a medium sized dog and came to the Shelter with an eye injury. As a result her eye was removed by the caring staff at Lakeland Vet. She may require some attentive care while she adjusts to seeing out of one eye instead of two. Leela has been through many adjustments and has some anxiety but should settle down given time and a consistent calm environment.
