Layla is a chocolate Lab Mix who was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas the day she was to be euthanized. If you love the lab breed then you will love Layla. She is about 1 year old and as sweet and kind as can be. She is pretty calm for a young lab and she has a very soft and kind facial expression. We will be getting some better pictures of her soon. She gets along well with other dogs and finds a running cat irresistible to chase. She would be ideal for a family that didn't want to go through the puppy stage of having a dog. This sweet girl will be spayed (3/13/09) and microchipped before adoption. Her shots including rabies are up to date and she has been tested negative for heartworms. Layla's adoption fee is $400 which includes the $150 transport fee paid by the rescue to bring her to CT and veterinary and other expenses.
