Dear Layla is an 8 month old schnauzer/wheaten/poodle mix who needs a loving home.
She is house trained, walks well on a leash and very affectionate once she has acquainted herself with you.
Layla is initially nervous with new people and takes time to warm up. She does however become very loyal and bonded to those she has come to trust and interact with.
She would prefer a home without any other animals but does get along with some dogs. She does not like it when dogs run up quickly to her and are overly exuberant.
Layla is about 25 pounds and has been shaved very short. Her coat is longer, more like a wheaten. She will need to go to the groomers about once every 10-12 weeks.
