Lars and his brother Lance are just the cutest little guys! They were only 5 weeks old when the came to live with Amma in the family room under the watch care of Katey Nana the Bernese Mountain Dog.
Lars and Lance had not had anything but milk from mama and they were not sure they liked the soupy mixture of dog food and "puppy milk". Amma had to feed them with a syringe every few hours for the first 24 hours until they got the idea about licking the wet stuff and drinking it them selves.....
The above is all "ancient history" as the brothers are now 7 weeks old and very wise in the ways of eating softened dry food with a bit of "puppy milk" added.
Lars and Lance are really busy boys these days learning to play with toys and of course "romper stomp" with each other!
They are still tiny little bundles of fluffy fur and Oh How they Love to be held, but not for too long because they are Very Busy Boys!
One nice thing about Lars and Lance is that though they are going to be small dogs they are also a mix of two well boned sturdy breeds that would make wonderful family dogs.
They could become part of a family with children who know how to be gentle and respectful with a small breed puppy.
Lars will only be adopted as an inside valued family member where he will be charished for his life time.
