Meet Lanna. Lanna and her 3 siblings were rescued at 4 weeks old from a bad situation. They came from a South Georgia backyard breeder. Mom apparently did not have enough milk, one pup already died and these 4 little ones were crying from hunger. The older man that had these little ones could not afford to take them to the Vet nor would he take the time to hand feed them so we received a call to help. We drove down to get them and they cried all the way home...that was a long 2 hour drive....it did not take long to hush their hunger pains once we got them home. These babies are being monitored and nurtured and we can already see where their little thin bodies are gaining weight. We are hoping these little ones will be ready for adoption as of March 20, 2010.
Lanna and her siblings are just now starting to play wrestle with each other and are developing their personalities. These wee ones are looking for their very own families to love and cherish them.
Our new human mom took our pictures on 3/10/10 after a good bath and fluff dry-I was 4 1/2 weeks old...too cute aren't I?
