Lance

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lance came to the shelter after he was found running loose in a nearby town. We held him for the legal stray hold and no owner came forward. We think he's a poodle mix of some kind - maybe with schnauzer or cocker spaniel. He does appear to have a somewhat curly coat. We think he's around 5 years old. He has been vet checked and neutered and his fee is $150. Lance can be a little reserved when he meets someone for the first time but it doesn't last long. He loves attention and would make a nice companion. He seems okay with dogs of similar size (he's around 25 pounds). He will need some regular grooming to keep his coat tangle free. He's a pretty active dog who will require some regular exercise. Kids over 5 would be best for him. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Check your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.
