Meet Lainey! She came to TCHS after her owner had health issues. She is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out by whimpering by the door. She has been around children of all ages and is friendly. She has lived with cats and other dogs and seems to be selective with both. A dog on dog meet and greet is recommended. Ask a staff member!Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home. It can take weeks or months for animals to settle into their new environment, so time and patience are your best tools. It is not recommended to bring a new animal into the home and immediately introduce it to resident pets. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Lainey loves to ride in the car, chew on rubber toys and bark! She has a lot to say! She knows how to "sit" and "shake". Her previous owners described her as exuberant with high energy levels. She would benefit from obedience and leash training to help her learn some manners. Come meet Lainey today!Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care. Deposits may be placed on adoptable animals by calling 320-252-0896.
