Lainey

Meet Lainey! She's the sweetest (and cutest) medium-sized dog. She's about 2 years old, 30 pounds, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She loves nothing more than cuddling on the couch and being around her humans. She will follow you around the house but will give you plenty of space if you are working or busy. She is a relatively low energy dog and is content to lay somewhere near you. She does like to play if you do, and enjoys walks outside. As per a professional dog trainer, Lainey is extremely food motivated and learns quickly with eagerness to please. She knows how to sit like a good girl and is learning good leash manners! She is completely house trained and can be trusted in the house by herself. She usually paces or goes towards the door when she needs to go potty. She is also good in the crate and the car, but would prefer to not be in her crate when you're home! Unfortunately she is not good with cats (she likes the chase a little too much!). She is also dog selective and therefore would prefer to be your only fur baby in the house. She does get along with certain dogs, but proper training and introductions are required. She also can be territorial at first when strangers come into the house; however, she is learning to calm down with the help of treats and goes back to her chill self usually in a few minutes! To best set her (and you) up for success, training sessions are included with her adoption. Lainey has been waiting for her forever home. She is the absolute sweetest and deserves to be loved on.
