My Story

One of the sweetest, most attentive dogs you'll ever meet, Ladybug has quickly become a favorite among Milo staff and volunteers*. This lovely lady is people-oriented, gentle, and low-energy. She is happy with short daily walks and will settle contentedly at your feet for hours. She needs a home where you will be home most of the time, so a work-from-home or retired household is ideal. Ladybug does come with some special issues: arthritic hips and fecal incontinence (which can be managed by erecting a controlled area within eyesight of her human, a diaper, and/or easy access to a yard). The staff at Milo is happy to give additional tips on setting Ladybug up for success in a home environment, so please ask! This easygoing doll of a dog has simple pleasures: a patch of grass to roll around in, belly scratches, and her human. Whoever opens their door to Ladybug will be so happy they did: she will repay your love exponentially! *Her adoption fee has been sponsored by volunteers.
