Calling the Boston Terrier Fan Club The look of terror and uncertainty on her face in the shelter versus her happy face after a few weeks at the Haven! Meet Ladybug! She is a sweet and gentle 13y/o 17lb female Boston Terrier. She is eager to please and loves to nap next to her people. She’s starting to relax but is still a bit stressed about the recent changes in her life. This poor girl was returned to the shelter after 12 years when her owner no longer had time for her! She is a low-maintenance pup. She is a total lovebug and loves to give kisses. She has limited hearing and sight but gets around fine. She has corneal edema in one eye and gets meds for her old bones in the morning. She has recently started a kidney diet. Sadly her ears were absolutely butchered by someone so vain they felt mutilating a dog would be of benefit. Luckily, Ladybug doesn’t mind that the remainder of her ears are jagged and knotted. We mind though. Ladybug is very friendly with other dogs but loves people the most. She's such a sweet girl. She is spayed, housetrained, and up to date on all vaccines. She loves to wander in the backyard and, while slow, is excellent walking on a leash. She can't wait to find a forever home where she will be loved and cherished and can nap wherever she chooses!
