Lady Z is one of the most AWESOME dogs I have ever met. She is a real beauty. Lady Z was turned in to a Shelter in upper SC because her family moved to a smaller house and did not feel as though they had room for her. If you know this breed you know a "Fila's" family is MOST important to them. I cannot imagine giving the exquisite creature away.
Lady Z was shivering from the cold and the elements at the pound when her foster mom arrived to pick her up. Lady Z jumped right into her new mom's vehicle even though she was apprehensive about the new stranger. She was so sad and confused by her family abandoning her. You could see the heartbreak on her face. It was so very sad.
Lady Z attached to her new foster mom almost immediately. Lady Z will not leave her foster mom's side. She is there to love and protect. Lady Z knows commands and listens extremely well, another feature of a true Fila. Lady Z's foster mom remains blown away with the magnitude of this special creature. Again, how could someone take her to the pound?
The Brazilian Mastiff's have a reputation for not being good with strangers and being very standoffish to people unless it is their human family. Well Lady Z is the exception. She does great with people approaching and petting her in public. She is protective of her home front but when introduced to strangers by her family..all is well...she practically becomes a lap dog and welcomes their attention.
If you like extra large, beautiful dogs then you must meet "Z". She rides great in the car, loves her family, adjusts to situations and really likes hanging out on the couch. She will also snuggle and keep you warm. This girl deserves a loving family to care for her. In return she will give them love and protection for her entire lifetime!
ADOPTION FEE: $400.
