My Story

https://www.wral.com/video/pet-of-the-day-june-10/21475009/ This dog needs a VERY special person to take over her care, prefer adoption, Lacey is full of life & has been returned to our rescue, by a couple who not only adjusted to Lacey’s quirks but also gave her the love & care she she did not receive for 10 years. They can no longer walk her safely-Lacey will thrive w/fenced yard & NO other pets. Lacey-from her owner~ “I have cried all day but she almost pulled me down~we have showered her with love. She is a sweet girl who loves people & her people. She would love to have a fenced yard to explore & sniff to her hearts content without being able to get to other animals. She needs to be the only pet because she does not like other animals, cats or dogs. She is not a laid back senior, she is up for anything. She is very quirky, does not like to have her tail, feet messed with. She has “steps” to let her get on the bed, by herself. (Included) She hates having her harness put on for walks, but knows she has to! Treats help! Then she will turn around, sit up on her hind legs & melt your heart with her sweet face & eyes. She is currently on a series of allergy shots, comes w/her, so you or your vet tech can administer. If someone has experience working with hard headed dogs, it would be helpful. She is totally house trained, (left alone lots) sleeps on the bed with us. Once she has her spot she doesn’t like to be moved. She is a love bug, loves to be petted, especially tummy rubs. I was looking for a senior laid back girl, but she has more energy than I can handle with my health issues. It is breaking my heart but I want her be with a family that will love her for all her quirks & all. Everyone who meets her think she is so cute & has a cute personality. Lacey goes to the pet spa twice a month. A full grooming & mid month, a bath. 16 lb. Her health & Her coat looks so much better (from when adopted) & is so soft. www.lovemuttsrescue.org >>Meet w/approved application on this links to apply to foster or adopt, & donate to our non-profit rescue. www.lovemuttsrescucue.org
