I recently took in a 7 year old, 150 lb Dane needing to find a permanent home! He was living with his owner at an assisted living facility, but unfortunately their health took a negative turn and the family could not take him. My mom temporarily fostered him and he found what was supposed to be permanent placement, but they were unable to keep him due to their smaller dogs not adjusting well to him. I took him in so he didn't end up in a shelter, but I won't be able to keep him long due to having two other large dogs in my home! He does well in a calm environment, is mainly an inside dog, does well with other dogs, but doesn't do well with cats or small dogs. He is neutered, fully vetted/up to date on shots, walks well on a leash, and is just an overall sweetheart!
