Good in a home with
Kito is one year old and weighs 27 lbs (slightly underweight, but that is being worked on). Kito is being fostered in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued by SNIPSA from San Antonio's Animal Control. Kito was taken to Animal Control by his former owners, because he was a fence-jumper; however, in his foster home, Kito has settled in well and has not tried to jump the fence (which in his foster home is a 6-ft wooden privacy fence).
We believe Kito may be a Kerry Blue Terrier, but we are not completely sure, as he has probably never been properly groomed, as a Kerry Blue should be. Kito is a very sweet, affectionate and lovable dog. He is well-behaved, he's housebroken, he gets along well with other dogs and he walks well on leash. Kito lived with a family with children in his former home, but he has not been around children since living in his foster home. It is also unknown if he is cat-safe. Kito's foster mom says he is beautiful! He's been neutered, he's current on his vaccinations and he is microchipped.
