Kirby-adopted!

Kirby loves people, he loves to play and cuddle. Kirby is a bit more causious than his sister but also does the same adorable head tilts and cute facial expressions. The two of them are learning stairs, Claire is up and down them with no fear but Kirby is taking his time and does not want to fall. He will venture up about four and that seems to be enough for him. Kirby is more vocal than his sister. Note: At some point these puppies were exposed to an adenovirus. They are all very healthy and have been followed very carefully by our veterinarian. Although there are no worries for these pups or for people, they are still shedding the virus in their urine and so should go to a home with either no other dogs or with dogs that have been well vaccinated. Our veterinarian would be happy to consult with you about any questions or concerns regarding these little darlings.

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
