Hello! I am Kira (16), a cute, medium-size, 1-year-old dog with short black fur (with barely noticeable brindle spots).
I used to be a stray dog along with the rest of my dog gang when one day a kind lady started feeding us. Despite not having a car and living far away, she made sure to get us spayed to prevent us from getting pregnant and adding more homeless puppies to the streets.
Finally, the lady took us in with the hope of finding us a permanent home. That's how she contacted the adoption program, and through it, I was also dewormed and vaccinated.
I am a cheerful, affectionate, and very active dog. I like playing with everyone and love belly rubs and scratches, though that doesn't mean I won't bark if a stranger approaches. My favorite toys are balls and stuffed animals. I currently live indoors, where I get along with other dogs and haven't had any issues with the host cats.
I hope to find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
