Meet KIra. KIra is an olmost one year old Belgian Malinois who along with her brother spent their first 6 months living in a backyard secluded from the rest of the world. When we brought them into rescue both were very frightened but Kira more so. We have sent Kira to our trainer and she is doing fantastic. Kira is now housetrained and crate trained. Kira knows sit, down, stand, stay, place, come and heel. Kira is environmentally stable but socially very afraid of new people. Kira is good with other dogs but would do best with a male dog, we don't know about cats or children. Kira is able to easily jump over a 6 foot fence and will need to be walked outside on a leash for the first several weeks until she feels safe and loved after which she will no longer try to jump the fence.
