Currently residing in boarding, Kingston is seeking a forever home where he can share his boundless affection and loyalty with a loving family. Having found himself in rescue alongside his brother due to littermate syndrome, Kingston is ready for a fresh start. While he's a loving companion to his humans, he's not fond of cats and can be particular about which dogs he tolerates and which he won’t. He is best suited to a home where he can be the sole pet or possibly alongside a submissive female companion, with slow and proper introductions . He prefers a calm environment, he does not tolerate dominant personalities. Kingston is super attuned to his human(s) and desperate to please them. If Kingston thinks you are upset, he will do anything to fix it. Kingston is crate trained and potty trained, but he does experience separation anxiety and vocalizes his distress when left alone. Therefore, a household with someone present most of the time would be ideal for him. Although he's a large boy, Kingston is gentle and suitable for older children, though supervision is recommended for younger ones. He's eager to please and responds well to training commands. Heartworm negative, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, Kingston is ready to find his forever family. Kingston’s adoption fee is $400.
