kimo update DEC 2/05 kimo is getting very depressed, he likes to go for walks have a cuddle and then he just wants to sleep. he is a large and intimidating dog but once you get to know him he is a gentle loving bear. he always perks up wags his tail and smiles when he See's his temporary shelter parents but that's not enough please contact us if you know anyone who can help this beautiful giant.Kimo came in as a stray from North Delta on Sept. 15th. He has not been claimed and is now up for adoption. He is 3 years 10 months old, and is a neutered male. He is a cream colour with a black mask, and is a purebred Akita. He was originally from the Maple Ridge area, but was re homed "free to a good home" 2 months ago. His free to a good home did not claim him.
Kimo is a nice boy, who loves people. He loves to go for walks, and appears to be house-trained, and knows basic commands. He is looking for a breed knowledgeable home with no other animals, and no small children. He is very smart, and needs clear boundaries, and a responsible owner, in order to be successful and well-behaved.
