Kerouac now Jimmy (after Jimmy Stewart) has been adopted by a wonderful family in Vancouver. He is wooing the town with his charming ways.
Update Nov 1st- The pups will all be spayed/neutered between Nov 17th and November 21st, at which point they will be ready to head to their new homes!
Kerouac is tri-coloured, mainly white, with tan, and black. We're guessing his Dad was a Northern breed type of dog.
Molly's puppies came into rescue when the pups were 3 weeks old. Molly, the mom, looks to be a maremma cross, and we believe that there were a couple of dads involved! The pups are an assortment of colours and looks. They will all be large breed dogs, with medium to long hair that will require regular grooming. They are looking for homes where someone is home more often than not. It is mandatory that they go to puppy and basic obedience classes, to help ensure that they are all well-behaved companions!
These boys and girls will make great family companions. They will have a moderate energy level, and enjoyed being involved in lots of different activities. If you are looking for another family member, then Molly or one of her pups may be the dog for you. Their foster home is an experienced poodle breeder, who will help this family be as well-socialized and as healthy as possible.
We are expecting that we will get many applications coming in so it may take us a few days to get back to you. The adoption procees is not on a first-come-first-serve basis, we aim for the best matches possible for each of our dogs, and recognize that one of these guys may not be the right match for every person.
Each puppies adoption fee is $200 to help cover the costs of their vet care. They will all be spayed/neutered, have their first vaccines, be tattooed, micrchipped, dewormed, and delfead.
To respect the privacy of their foster home we ask that people email us for an application. Once completed we will talk to you, your references, and get a homecheck done. Once you are all approved, THEN you can meet this lovely family.
