My Story
After she was returned almost an entire year ago, Kaylee has been waiting in a room by herself. Aside from her daily walks and engagement, she was lonely, isolated, and hopeless. Days turned into weeks and turned into months, and she continued to wait for someone to save her from her misery. She was deteriorating, as any dog would in that environment until a foster came to take her home this weekend.
Kaylee has been settling into her new foster home and, as you can see, is already bonding closely with her foster mom. She is so thankful that she gave her a chance to have a normal life, and she shows it through her affection and cuddles. She is a big dog with a soft, mushy heart once you give her the chance to let it shine. She is not perfect, no dog is perfect, but she deserves love all the same.
Kaylee is 4 years old, a bully mix (possibly bulldog/pit/boxer), and about 60 pounds. She is a sweet girl with good house manners, is house trained, crate trained, and basic obedience trained. She was never socialized with other dogs or cats, so needs to be an only dog. She also needs a strong pack leader to calm her when overexcited/overstimulated, and for that reason, we also say no younger children (14+).
We only have SEVEN MONTHS to find Kaylee a home, and we need your help in order to do so. She has been waiting for a forever family for over TWO YEARS, so this situation is DESPERATE. Please, share this beautiful soul with all of your friends, family, and Facebook groups. We need to rally together to make magic happen and save this angel!
Please, help us. Help Kaylee.
