Have I got a tale to tell you! My name is Kaya and I may be small, but my spirit is as mighty as they come. You see, I was found by the side of the road, just about to meet my fate with a speeding car. But fate had other plans for me, and now I'm here to spread some magic in your life. I'm Kaya, a 8 month old, Terrier/heeler mix. My moniker comes from a Planeswalker in Magic: The Gathering, and let me tell you I've got that same strong-willed vibe coursing through my veins. I may have had a rough start, but I'm ready to soar to new heights with the right family by my side. I am working on house, crate and leash training and fortunately, I am treat oriented or it shouldn't be long before I have it down. I've also been watching and copying my foster siblings. I've got a bit of a soft spot for the ladies but it will take me awhile to warm up to men. My ideal home will have a fenced yard, but I think I could potentially be the co-pilot for a semi truck. I need a family who's patient and understanding, willing to let me take my time warming up to new people and situations. I may be small, but I've got a big heart and a whole lot of love to give.
