LOCATION: Foster care ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Camila Miner - [email protected] ADOPTION FEE: $475. ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 20 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Kay enjoys being around other dogs and takes confidence from them being around her. She is not a hard player and prefers to be in a chill hang out. KNOWN WITH CATS: As far as we know, she has not met any cats. We would be happy to find this out for you if you are interested! KNOWN WITH KIDS: We would suggest Kay go to live with children 10 years old or more. She can be nervous around new people and needs someone who can contain themselves and let Kay open up with time. KNOWN COMMANDS: Kay is still too shy to train and needs time to relax. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Kay does well in a crate and settles down quickly. KNOWN LIKES: Kay enjoys string cheese as a snack. KNOWN DISLIKES: Kay is generally nervous, so she does not like it when people rush in to pet her or try to pick her up. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Kay was surrendered to one of our shelter partners. She is shy at first but will settle into being held by someone she loves. Kay loves to explore the outdoors. She is still learning to trust all people and needs leash training due to having handling sensitivities.
